A slow Saturday morning for your nervous system. In a small group at HOMI in the Kleverpark, Sjoerd guides you from gentle somatic movement into a calm rhythm of connected breathing: four counts in, four counts out, with breath holds.
Active and connected, but gentle: no fast breathing and no performance. Just slowing down until your body follows, and then coffee and a pastry from Jules together. Up to eight mats, so there is room for everyone. No experience needed.

Arrive & settle
Come in, find your mat and settle in. Mats, blankets and eye masks are ready.
Somatic movement before active connected breathing
We start with gentle somatic movement to land in the body. Then Sjoerd guides the group into a slow, even rhythm, four counts in and four counts out, with breath holds, and lets it settle deeper step by step. You set your own pace the whole time.
Coffee & a pastry
We close with good coffee and a pastry from Jules, and time to chat or just sit for a while.

Frequently asked questions
I have never done breathwork before. Can I join?
Yes. The pace is slow and Sjoerd explains everything as you go. You set your own pace.
What is four-four breathing?
Breathing in for four counts and out for four counts, without a pause in between, so the breath stays connected. At this slow pace it is gentle, and now and then we hold the breath for a while. We build it up step by step.
Is the session in English or Dutch?
Sjoerd guides in Dutch or English, depending on who is in the room. Questions in either language are welcome.
